Francis Parker Loses in Division III Final

The Francis Parker High School girls’ volleyball team was stopped one match short of advancing to the state championships when it lost to Southern California Christian, 15-9, 15-1, 15-7, Saturday in the state Division III finals in Anaheim.

“We were totally overmatched,” Francis Parker Coach John Cook said. Nancy Wintinger led Francis Parker (27-3) with four service aces.
