Peter Weber, a 56-year-old bank executive first elected to the Rolling Hills City Council in 1974, became that city’s new mayor this week. Hugh Muller was elected mayor pro tem.

Weber said his goals are to maintain “open communications with the constituents” and to help maintain the rural atmosphere of the city.
