The editors of the rock section really earned their paychecks last week (Nov. 24).
On Page 65, Robert Hilburn stated that Steve Van Zandt “responded more to the Dylan’s tone than to the . . . message.” The Dylan? Is this akin to Andy Kaufman on Saturday Night Live reverentially referring to Elvis as “the Elvis Presley”?
On Page 66, Terry Atkinson called Arcadia “three out of four Duran Durans.” Three out of five Durans, Terry.
On Page 82, Chris Willman informed us that “Rock a Little” is Stevie Nicks’ fourth solo album, when it is in fact her third.
