Costa Mesa : Police Seek Roommate of Man Slain in Shooting
Costa Mesa police are seeking the roommate of a man shot to death early Friday morning during an argument in the two men’s apartment at 2937 Mendoza St.
Gregorio Peregrino, 26, was dead on arrival at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to Costa Mesa Police Sgt. Chuck Hamilton. Bravlio Pantojas, 26, was being sought in connection with Peregrino’s death, Hamilton added.
According to police, an argument broke out between the two men at about 12:30 a.m., and Pantojas is alleged to have pulled a gun and to have shot Peregrino.
