A Folsom prison inmate from Riverside County was stabbed in the back, officials said. Julius Evenson, 44, was in serious condition at University Medical Center in Sacramento, prison spokesman Lt. T. J. Smith said. Evenson is serving a 40-year sentence for child molestation and multiple sex crimes. The assailant has not been identified, Smith said. It was the 184th stabbing at the prison this year.
