El Toro Explodes for 52-13 Victory

El Toro tuned up for its first-place showdown in the South Coast League next week with an easy 52-13 nonleague win over Warren Friday night in Downey.
Johnson completed 10 of 16 pass attempts for 127 yards as El Toro improved its record to 5-3. Gonzales scored on interception returns of 70 and 80 yards and the Cargers had four interrceptions in the game to bring their season total to 21.
