First, It Was the Irish; Now, Tollner Takes a Beating From Fans

Perhaps Notre Dame’s latest drubbing of USC will have a silver lining if it opens some people’s eyes to the glaring weaknesses of the Ted Tollner-era Trojans. Under Tollner, USC has consistently exhibited an inept offense with poor, unimaginative play-calling that has all too often led to routs by average to above-average opponents.
One only had to look across the field at Gerry Faust to wonder if USC can afford to wait as long as the Irish have before evaluating their coaching situation.
