Amoco will acquire 72 service stations from Arco.
The properties are located in the Chicago metropolitan area, Amoco said. Terms of the deal, which will become effective Dec. 2, were not disclosed. Service station dealers and personnel involved in the transaction will be contacted soon by Arco and Amoco representatives to discuss the steps leading to the changeover.
