Golden West’s Wrestlers Defeat Rio Hondo, 23-22
Golden West College edged Rio Hondo, 23-22 in a nonconference wrestling match at Golden West Friday.
Veto Becerra, wrestling at 180 pounds, and Rich Brenton (193) had back-to-back victories to assure the win for the Rustlers (4-0). Becerra defeated Ray Delgado, 8-3, and Brenton pinned the Roadrunners’ Mike Tellez.
