“When you have good players you have to give them the ball,†John Barnes, Los Alamitos coach, said. “They’re just good athletes who can make things happen.

“Another key was our pass blocking. They (the offensive lines) has done an outstanding job for us this year, but they’ll get a big test against Pacifica next.â€

The duo of Snow and Katzaroff didn’t waste anytime putting Los Alamitos ahead early in the first quarter as Snow directed the Griffins on a four-play scoring drive that covered 55 yards, the last 20 coning on a touchdown pass to Katzaroff.

The Griffins finished scoring early in the second half. Running back Roger Roadstrom scored on a two-yard run following the recovery of a Kennedy fumble to make it 35-0.

Another bright spot for Los Alamitos was the Griffin defense, which kept Kennedy out of Los Alamitos territory in the first half.
