Thomas E. Hayes has been appointed director of the real estate consulting group recently established by MCS Associates, a financial services consulting firm with offices in Newport Beach and Washington, D.C. Hayes, 44, had been a vice president in charge of Genstar Partners, a subsidiary of Genstar Housing in Newport Beach, for two and a half years before his appointment to the new position with the MCS group.
