USIU Volleyball Team Wins in Five Sets
SAN DIEGO — The United States International University women’s volleyball team defeated Boise State in five sets Tuesday at USIU.
The Gulls won, 11-15, 15-8, 15-2, 14-6, 7-15. Claudia Johnson led the USIU attack with 22 kills and Nancy Dome added 19. Setter Erin Tomblin had 48 assists. USIU is 6-7 and Boise State dropped to 9-7. USIU scored the last four points of the match on services aces.
