Dr. Gerald Nelson, author of the “One Minute Scolding,” will address the association lunch on Saturday, and a representative of the state Department of Social Services will present state awards to this year’s outstanding foster parents.
The foster parent group will also present awards to five outstanding social workers who have shown exceptional service and support to foster children.
