Orange No Match for Norco, Falls, 35-13

Norco High School exploded for three second-period touchdowns Friday night on its way to a 35-13 victory over Orange at Norco Field.
Norco (2-0) was led by junior quarterback Chris Kruswicki, who completed 9 of 14 passes for 169 yards and engineered the Cougars’ three second-quarter scoring drives.
Halfback Renick Reider added 131 yards on 21 carries and scored three touchdowns for the Cougars.
Norco scored even before its offense took the field. Linebacker Mike Mulholland intercepted a deflected pass on Orange’s third play form scrimmage and returned it 26 yards for the score.
Orange (0-2), was limited to 16 yards in total offense in the first half. However, the Panthers avoided a shutout with two fourth-quarter touchdowns.
The first came when quarterback Mike Stock teamed with flanker Rob Glover on a 78-yard touchdown pass play. The Panthers struck again late in the game when they scored on a 70-yard pass from Paul Mouade to Mark Holman.
