City officials in Cincinnati unveiled signs renaming the street that passes by Riverfront Stadium for Pete Rose, just one day after Rose broke Ty Cobb’s 57-year-old record for hits.

City Council members voted last week to formally change Second Street to Pete Rose Way, despite a city tradition that people must be deceased before streets can be named for them.
