Irving and Jeanette Benveniste will be honored for their scholarship donations to Ben-Gurion University at the Founders Dinner scheduled by the school’s American Associates on Oct. 1 at the new Century Plaza Towers.
The couple have provided scholarship funds in perpetuity to benefit Sephardic students and medical students at the university in Israel. The school, named after Israel’s first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, is noted for its medical school and research in desert agriculture.
