The Arizona Board of Regents offered former Arizona State basketball Coach Bob Weinhauer a $276,775 settlement in exchange for dropping all claims against the university and the board over his firing last month, and set a Tuesday deadline for him to accept or reject the offer.

Weinhauer, 45, was fired July 9 after posting a three-year record of 44-45, including 12-16 last season.
