Archie McGill, former president of Advanced Information Systems/American Bell unit of AT&T;, has been appointed to the board of directors of MSI Data Corp. of Costa Mesa.
McGill, 54, is currently president of Chardonney Inc., a venture capital investment and business firm based in New Jersey. McGill was previously president and CEO of Rothschild Ventures, the New York investment arm of the European-based company.
McGill’s election Monday brought the MSI board to seven members, as designated in the company’s charter.
