Industrial Complexes : 30-Year-Old Fullerton Facility Getting Face Lift
A 30-year-old Fullerton industrial complex with about 110,000 square feet of floor space has been purchased from the Singer Co. by Western Industrial Investors, which plans to turn the structure, at 300 N. Gilbert Ave., into a flexible facility with 130,000 square feet of space including offices.
When completed, the complex is expected to have a value of $10 million, according to the Seeley Co., which handled the sale.
Valencia Parcel Bought
Crocker Avenue Industrial has purchased 3.44 acres in the Valencia Industrial Center for $899,000 from Valencia Co. and plans to start construction before the end of this summer on three industrial warehouse buildings at a total cost of $1.4 million. Completion is expected in November.
San Diego Site Purchased
McKellar Development of La Jolla has acquired a 52.1-acre industrial parcel in the Pacific Corporate Center, east of Interstate 5 on San Diego’s Sorrento Mesa, in a $12,725,000 transaction arranged by the John Burnham & Co. Commercial Brokerage Division.
