Mead to Fete Anniversary With Bonuses
Mead Housing will celebrate its fifth anniversary as a Los Angeles nonprofit, single-family home builder by giving buyers their choice of bonuses from Thursday until Oct. 15.
Among choices during the two-month period are free draperies, front-yard fencing, a microwave oven, a $500 cash moving allowance or an electric garage door opener, according to Donald B. Nicolson, president.
Additionally, down payments on many Mead Homes models have been reduced to 5% for qualified buyers, he said. Mead’s prices start at $35,000; lots for immediate building and a few completed homes are available in South Central Los Angeles, Compton, Watts, Willowbrook and Pomona. Information is available from Mead at 213/563-7210.
