Allstate Insurance Leases Buildings in Brea Center
Allstate Insurance Cos. expects to move into two newly completed structures at Brea Tech Center, at the northeast corner of Kraemer Boulevard and Imperial Highway, Brea, by Oct. 1 under a $30-million, long-term lease. About 750 of its employees will be working there.
The firm will occupy 195,000 square feet on a 10-acre site within the business park’s 32-acres. It is a $90-million joint-venture complex of developers Harold Josephson and Gerald L. Katell with Cal Fed Enterprises, subsidiary of California Savings & Loan Assn.
First National Bank of Chicago provided construction financing, and Herbert Nadel, AIA and Partners, was the architect. Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services represented Allstate in the transaction.
