Former Ram quarterback Vince Ferragamo led Buffalo on a five-play, 50-yard scoring drive late in the fourth quarter as the Bills tied the Detroit Lions, 10-10, in a National Football League exhibition opener Friday night at Pontiac, Mich.

Neither team was able to score in overtime.

Wide receiver Andre Reed took a reverse handoff from running back Jacque Robinson and ran 19 yards untouched into the end zone with 2:29 left in the fourth quarter to give the Bills the tying touchdown.

Buffalo was helped in its drive by a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty on Lion safety William Graham.
