The White Sox have come to terms with former Montreal Expo right-hander Steve Rogers, who will report to Chicago’s Triple-A farm club in Buffalo, General Manager Roland Hemond said.
Rogers had a tryout with the White Sox before the All-Star break but at that time turned down an offer to report to the minors. He will begin with the Bisons.
Rogers was released by the Expos earlier this season and had tryouts with several other teams, including the Angels.
