Rickover Condition Still Stable After His Stroke

WASHINGTON — Retired Adm. Hyman Rickover, the engineering mastermind behind the U.S. nuclear submarine fleet, remained in “stable condition” at Bethesda Naval Medical Center in Maryland, a spokesman said Monday.
The 85-year-old nuclear and undersea boat expert was admitted to the hospital July 4 after suffering a stroke.
