Tim Williams to Fight Veteran James Waire

SAN DIEGO — Tim Williams, who has knocked out each of his opponents in his six professional fights, will face veteran James Waire in a scheduled 10-round middleweight bout July 18 at the El Cortez Hotel Convention Center.

Williams, a San Diego resident, had a lengthy amateur career before turning pro. Most recently, Williams knocked out Jack Simone of Nicaragua at 2:40 of the first round on June 29 in Santa Rosa.
