Kaufman & Broad reports another winner in California Hills at Arlington and La Sierra avenues in Riverside with nearly 50% of the first phase of 25 homes sold the first week they were shown.

Due to a “tremendous buyer response†to the Los Rios project at 12181 Camenito Corriente in Bernardo Heights, a fourth phase of condominium homes has been released for sale just two weeks after the third phase was offered, said Alice Cummings, vice president of marketing for Brehm Communities, developer of the 130-home community. To date 54 units have been sold.

Covington Homes, Fullerton, specialists in the development of four-plex apartments, has announced a sell-out of the first phase of its most recent development in Ontario, to be located on the southeast corner of Imperial Avenue and D Street. The development will have a total of 40 four-plexes offered in two plans and priced from $269,900 to $274,900.

Seven homes were sold in the first three hours and 300 persons toured the model complex at the grand opening of The Vistas at Cantebria, the third neighborhood in the Mediterranean-style executive-home community by Corky McMillin at 415 Via Ultimo in the foothills of Encinitas. Twenty one homes of the 79-unit development remain to be sold, priced from $151,900 to $192,900, with below-market conventional financing.

Since the grand opening of 22 new homes and home sites at Point Dume Club of Malibu, there have been 12 sites reserved or homes sold, according to Grant Adamson, the Adamson Cos., owners and developers of the private, adult-oriented, oceanside community at 29500 Heathercliff Road, Malibu. Ground leases range from $725 to $820 a month and homes are priced from $73,900 to $103,000.
