RTD SCHEDULE CHANGES

The bus system is changing schedules significantly on these routes:

Line 1: Hollywood Boulevard. Buses will roll less often during rush hours. Line 42: Los Angeles-Westchester-Redondo Beach. Midday buses will arrive every 40 minutes instead of every 35 minutes. Line 107: 54th Street. Midday buses will come every 35 minutes instead of every 22 minutes. Line 111: LAX-Florence Avenue-Leffingwell Road. Line 112: LAX-Florence Avenue-Otis Street. Buses between Los Angeles Airport and Crenshaw Boulevard will come every 45 minutes instead of 32 minutes. Between Otis Street and Garfield Avenue, buses rolling on Florence Avenue will arrive every 15 to 30 minutes instead of every 32 minutes. Buses will come once an hour east of Florence and Garfield Avenues to the city of Whittier and also along Otis Street between Florence Avenue and Abbott Road. Line 120: Imperial Highway. Service along Imperial Highway east of Beach Boulevard will be cancelled middays Monday through Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. Buses will continue to roll during rush hours. Line 124: El Segundo Boulevard-Santa Fe Avenue. Buses will arrive every 50 minutes instead of every 35 minutes during the middle of the day during the week. Line 203: Griffith Park Observatory. Buses will drive along a new line from the intersection of Vermont and Beverly Boulevard along Vermont, Vermont Canyon Road and East Observatory Road to the Observatory. Buses will come every 50 to 85 minutes from 1 p.m. until 10:20 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Line 217: Fairfax Avenue. Buses will come every 15 minutes instead of every eight minutes between Fairfax Avenue and Sunset Boulevard and the Hollywood area. Line 254: 120th Street-Huntington Park Lorena Street. Buses will come once an hour Saturday mornings instead of every 45 minutes. Line 255: Rowan Avenue-County Hospital-Griffin Avenue. Buses will arrive every 40 to 45 minutes instead of every half hour weekday mornings and midday hours. On weekends, the buses will come every 45 minutes instead of every half hour. Line 434: Los Angeles-Santa Monica-Malibu-Trancas Freeway Express. Buses will roll all the way to Leo Carillo State Beach during the summer. They will arrive every half hour between Santa Monica and Leo Carillo during the week and every 35 minutes on weekends. Line 444: Downtown-Torrance-Rolling Hills-Marineland Express. Buses will come every hour during midday hours Monday through Friday instead of every 45 minutes. Line 460: Los Angeles-Norwalk-Santa Ana via Disneyland. More buses will roll during the summer. Line 466: La Mirada-Los Angeles Park ‘n’ Ride Express. The La Mirada Park ‘n’ Ride will be closed Monday.
