First Lady Will Attend N.Y. Benefit Dance Show

WASHINGTON — First Lady Nancy Reagan will travel to New York on Monday to attend the opening benefit performance of the Dance Theatre of Harlem’s 10th season, an aide said Thursday.

She is honorary chairwoman of the event at the Metropolitan Opera House. On Tuesday, she will visit Covenant House, a child-care facility for those who have been exploited, abandoned or victimized by drug and alcohol abuse.
