The Times (May 21) reported the death of Kenneth Donahue, community leader and valued friend.
The board of directors of the American Liver Foundation, the Scientific Advisory Committee, and the many victims of liver diseases whose lives he touched, mourn the death of Ken Donahue, founder and former director of the Southern California Chapter of the American Liver Foundation.
In his realization of the need for education in research and the clinical treatment of liver disease, he turned to the American Liver Foundation and began its programs in Southern California. We will continue these programs, which fund research, present community educational seminars, and pursue new and important organ-donor programs, and will remember Ken Donahue always with affection and grateful appreciation.
