REVOLUTIONARIES

I don’t see what all this fuss over “psychedelic music” is for. Prince and the Revolution’s “Around the World in a Day” is nothing that the Jimi Hendrix Experience, the Yardbirds, the Grateful Dead, Syd’s Pink Floyd and the Small Faces haven’t been doing for years.
Recently, I heard a track by that other band you kept mentioning called the Beatles. It was called “Dear Prudence” and it sounded real trippy, definitely two-hit possibility. The next time they are in town I hope they play a local venue, like the Palace, or maybe they can open for the Bangles at Magic Mountain.
