Peninsula Tour Will Benefit Gamble House
A tour of five natural-wood homes in the Palos Verdes Peninsula and San Pedro areas will be held from 10 a.m-5 p.m. next Sunday, sponsored by the Friends of the Gamble House.
Proceeds from the $10 tour will be used for the preservation and operation of the Gamble House, the 1908 Pasadena landmark designed by architects Charles and Henry Greene.
The houses on the tour were designed by William Abbott and Everett Tozier, architects, and Robert Halderman, builder. A limited number of tickets will be available on the day of the tour at 3712 Carolina St., San Pedro, and 30513 Palos Verdes Drive East, Rancho Palos Verdes.
Tickets can be obtained from the Gamble House-Peninsula/Harbor Tour, 4 Westmoreland Place, Pasadena 91103.
