Confidence in Social Security System Drops

WASHINGTON — Confidence in the future of the Social Security System has dropped sharply in the last decade, according to findings of the American Council of Life Insurance.
The council said that its latest nationwide survey found less than 33% of the public confident about the system--9% very confident and 23% somewhat confident.
