Applied Circuit completed an acquisition.

The Anaheim-based supplier of test equipment for computer disk drives said it acquired Dumont Magnetic Technology Inc. for about $2.5 million in cash and stock. Dumont, with 45 employees and annual sales of about $6 million, specializes in computer disk-drive repair and refurbishment. Dumont will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Applied Circuit under its current name and management in existing Irvine headquarters.
