Orange Coast Opens Crew Season With Wins
Orange Coast College opened its dual meet crew season with three easy wins over the University of San Diego in North Lido Channel at Newport Beach Saturday.
The Pirates won the varsity eight, the junior varsity eight and the freshman eight. In the varsity eight, OCC was timed in 6:23.26. USD came in at 6:41.86.
The Pirates are in the San Diego Crew Classic next week in Mission Bay at San Diego.
