Citizens for the West Los Angeles Veloway, a group seeking to develop a two-mile elevated bikeway from Westwood to West Los Angeles, has begun a drive to raise $2 million to $3 million. The money is needed to draw matching funds from government sources to build the bikeway, estimated to cost $7 million to $10 million, according to spokesman Ryan Snyder.
“If we can meet our fund-raising goal, the remainder of the money should not be difficult to obtain from government sources,†Snyder said.
