Canyon Girls Win on Nelson’s Shot
Angie Nelson made a five-foot, turnaround jump shot with six seconds remaining Monday night to lift the Canyon High School girls basketball team to a 53-52 victory over El Modena in a Century League game played in the Vanguards’ gym.
