Glendale Hit by Power Outage
A power outage, originating in a power distribution tie-line with Los Angeles County, left half of Glendale--about 60,000 customers--without electricity for a little more than an hour just before midnight.
Police responded to a significant number of burglar alarms that went off because of the outage, but no burglaries were reported. The exact cause of the outage was not determined,
