Moses’ Jury Selection Begins

Jury selection began today in the prostitution-solicitation trial of Edwin Moses, two-time Olympic gold medal hurdler. Moses, 29, appeared at Municipal Court with his wife and mother at 9:30 a.m., 45 minutes before proceedings began.

Moses was arrested last month during a police prostitution crackdown in the Hollywood area. He was charged with soliciting an undercover policewoman to commit prostitution, a misdemeanor. If convicted, Moses faces up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
