Glenn Will Vote Against Meese

WASHINGTON — Sen. John Glenn (D-Ohio) said today that Edwin Meese III has shown “extremely poor judgment at best and an ethical blind spot at worst†as a top White House adviser and thus should be rejected when his nomination for attorney general comes before the Senate. Glenn told a news conference that he will vote against the Meese nomination and urge other lawmakers to do the same when the matter comes to the floor, perhaps on Feb. 20.
