Car Theft Suspect Shot
A car theft suspect was shot and wounded early Sunday by police officers who said he pointed a weapon at them in a confrontation in South-Central Los Angeles.
Juan Fregoso, 20, was hospitalized in critical condition in the jail ward of County-USC Medical Center and booked on suspicion of armed robbery and attempted murder of a peace officer.
