A 48-year-old Leucadia man died Friday after his car hit a parked car and a truck in Cardiff, said a spokesman for the county coroner’s office. Povl Jorgenson, a self-employed contractor, was pronounced dead at 10 p.m. The station wagon he was driving northbound on San Elijo Avenue collided with a parked car, veered into on-coming lanes and hit a pickup truck. No one else was injured.
