Two young men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the Wednesday night robbery and slaying of Huntington Beach salesman William Francis O’Gorman, who was stabbed in the head and chest after three robbers burst into the Huntington Beach apartment he was visiting, police said Saturday.

Clement Eric Brown, 22, of Westminster, his neighbor Tutulla F. Tuvalu, 22, and Lisa P. Mondragon, 21, of Santa Ana were booked into the Huntington Beach City Jail Friday afternoon on suspicion of murder and armed robbery, according to Police Lt. Roger Parker.

Held Without Bail

The suspects, who were arrested at their homes, were being held without bail Saturday, police said.

O’Gorman, 30, was killed after three robbers, one armed with a sawed-off shotgun, entered the apartment in the 8100 block of Holland Drive and demanded money, police said. The robbers, two men and a woman, ordered the five men in the apartment to lie on the floor and then stole an undetermined amount of cash, police said.

Police said O’Gorman and Steven Allen Fritchel, 25, who lives at the apartment, were stabbed after they resisted the robbers’ orders. Fritchel suffered a minor wound on his arm and was not hospitalized.

Officers found a large carving knife in the apartment. However, police said it was not known whether that knife was used in the stabbings. Investigators said the gun was not fired but may have been used to strike the victims.
