Renovation of Regency Hotel in Final Stage
The remaining portion of a $6.5-million renovation of the Registry Hotel in Irvine/Newport Beach, adjacent to the John Wayne Airport, is in the process of being completed.
Just beginning is the redecoration of the hotel lobby and lounge, the Crystal Ballroom and the Cafe Gazebo which will be transformed into a French-style sidewalk cafe.
The Los Angeles-based design firm of Kovacs McElrath Associates Inc. is currently creating the $750,000 Ravel’s lounge. The first phase of the project included the refurbishment of hotel guest rooms, restaurants and meeting rooms.
