Alhambra
Main Street will be rebuilt from Alhamsor Street east eight blocks to the city limits under a $945,747 contract awarded by the Alhambra City Council to McGrew Construction Co. of Anaheim.
The project, scheduled for completion by August, includes installation of a storm drain, replacement of sidewalks and street lights and widening of the street by two feet in some places. McGrew Construction submitted the lowest of 13 bids.
