Bank of America said it has formed a new group, called BankAmerica Systems Engineering, which will spend up to $1 billion a year for five years on technological development and coordinating the bank’s use of technology . . . The Florida Citrus Mutual estimated that last week’s record freeze cost the state about 36.7 million gallons of frozen orange juice concentrate--about 26% of the anticipated yield . . . The acquisition of Denny’s Inc. by a privately held corporation owned by members of Denny’s management, Merrill Lynch Capital Markets and various financial institutions has been completed.
