San Clemente : Council OKs 114-Unit Project for Backcountry
Plans for a 114-unit condominium project for the so-called backcountry area have been approved by the City Council.
EPAC, a Long Beach-based development firm, plans to build the units on a 16-acre parcel on the north side of Calle del Cerro near Avenida Vista Montana. They would consist of one- and two-story units containing two and three bedrooms.
The parcel would be divided into lots having between 10 and 15 units each, city Associate Planner Steve Haubert said. The project’s location makes it subject to the Rancho San Clemente Specific Plan, which requires such amenities as parks, and equestrian, bicycle and jogging trails, Haubert said.
