San Diego
An unidentified white man was killed just after midnight Saturday when a car hit him in the 1100 block of West Mission Bay Drive, said Bill Robinson, a San Diego police spokesman. The man, who appears to be in his late 30s, was running south from a parking lot east of the Bahia Hotel when he was struck by a westbound vehicle. The driver was not cited. The man was described as being about 5-foot-11, 196 pounds with brown hair, hazel eyes and being clean shaven, a deputy coroner said. He was wearing jeans and a blue plaid shirt, off-white jacket and a green sweater.
