Greatwest agreed to sell its hospital group.

American Healthcare Management Inc. of Dallas negotiated to buy Santa Ana-based Greatwest Hospitals’ seven Southern California hospitals and a group of clinics and medical buildings for about $95 million in cash. The agreement was announced just three weeks after Greatwest said it wanted to get out of the hospital business and concentrate on its health maintenance organizations.
