Boys’ soccer: Cristian Roldan is Gatorade state player of the year

Cristian Roldan from Pico Rivera El Rancho has been named the Gatorade boys’ soccer player of the year in California.
He’s a 5-foot-7 midfielder who scored 54 goals and had 31 assists this past season. He had 94 goals in his four-year career at El Rancho. He also has a 3.9 grade-point average.
He will play soccer for Washington in the fall.
