Venice won its opening game of the RBI World Series in the Junior Division on Thursday in Minnesota with a 6-1 victory over Harrisburg.
Devin Davis went two for three with a double and Kyle Stewart added two hits. Dalton Blumenfeld struck out five in six innings while walking one. Matthew Kassowitz had three stolen bases.
